Last Blog!! This semester has been one of the most difficult for me at college, probably because I have many subjects that I liked so I wanted to make the best in every one. Because of that I couldn’t fulfill all the task for this subject as would liked, but I did my best. This subject, in particular, has been pleasure, is really great when you go to a class and you have the chance to talk to your partners and share our opinions. The blog experience has been a great to practice and develop our writing skills. Is so important when we are learning a new language to practice all the abilities not just the talking. The topics for the blog where interesting, we had the chance to talk about some important topics as the feminism and our lives in collage, but I would like that we have some free entrys to make the work more dynamic and to know more about our partners. I love my smartphone  My Favorite piece of technology is my smartphone, probably as many of you. I have a Samsung J5 Prime that I bought at the beginning of the year when my previous smartphone died. I really like my smartphone because for me is the perfect tool, I mean you have everything at the comfort of your hand.   At this days have a smartphone is almost an obligation, for us that we studied Journalism is essential to be communicated in every way possible, so I do much of the work for school from my phone, from recording interviews, writing documents to contacting the people I need. Beside of being a tool for work is also a piece of entertainment, I also use my smartphone to watch Netflix, Facebook and all kinds of social media.  This is terrible because I spend too much time with the phone in my hands so I never disconnect, I´m working on that.

My favorite course  My favorite course of this semester is photography, I know that I've mentioned it before, but I really really love it, also,  at the same time is the course that causes me the most frustration. This course is the second part of Photojournalism, and in theory it should be a practical course but it´s not being like that. I did´t choose this course, it was assigned to me through the ranking.  The problem with this course is that the program is not done for that we learn the technical aspects of taking a photo, and for me that is the half part of taking a good picture, in this course we just learned the basic aspects.   The other half is give to the picture a good content, and in this course we are supposed to learn how to give content to a picture by looking others photographers work on the internet. we passed every class looking at pictures online instead of going out and take pictures, that for me is what really gives you a personal...

Post 6 Feminism in my life Feminism is not a new movement , the feminism was born about the XVII century when women started to talk about equality and later on when they started  to fight for their civil rights. The feminism for me is something to learn about every day, as womens that grow up in a patriarchal system we need to fight, since we are little girls, against the gender roles that are impossed to us. When I was a little girl my mom always told me that I could be or do anything that I wanted if I worked hard for it. At the moment I didn´t understand why she was telling me that, but now I realize that she wanted that I believe in myself no matter what. Today I think that the feminism continous being an active and necessary fight, is something that we have to work everyday, everytime we walk on the street, next to every women and men that realize that we are equals in every way.

Post 5 A unique picture  This is currently one of my favorite pictures, the reason why i like it so much is because is unusual and historical, also represents one of the reasons for the beginnings of photography. This picture is actually of my family.  A  few months ago one of  my grandmother´s sibling died, he was a really old man and it was one of the kindest people I ever met. When we went to his funeral, in his house, we found a box full of family pictures, the most of them was really really old, I think they must be at least fifty years old. When I saw this picture, I was shocked, at first I thought it was creepy because why someone would take a photo in such a painful moment, but speaking with my uncles I realized that at that time it was totally normal.  I don´t know who that funeral was, no one could remember, but I can recognize a lot of my uncles and also to my grandmother and my mom when she was a little girl. My favorite movie  If I have to choose only one movie to see for the rest of my life, I would definitely choose the Harry Potter saga. These movies have been my favorite since I was like eleven years old. I started reading the books and never stopped. I remerber that the first time that I had one of the Harry Potter books in my hands I read it like in three days. Then every year I hoped the time where the new movie was premiered, that it was at the same time of the year of my birthday so I always get the tickets as a gift. I guess that now, when I see those movies I remember my childhood.  I have always liked the fantasy movies, those that make you imagine a world where what you never expect that happend in the real life can happen. Why did I choose this career? The way I get to the journalism wasn't very common, and many of you will think that I was irresponsible or childish. The truth is that I never knew very well what I wanted to study. The problem wasn’t that I didn't like anything, it was the opposite, I liked everything , I wanted to study from astronomy to music to political sciences, except engineering (mathematics are not my thing). One day some students of journalism at the University of Chile came into my school, that day I started to think about the career. It looked like a good idea because it's a career where you can do or study various themes like politics, art or what you what.
