Feminism in my life

Feminism is not a new movement , the feminism was born about the XVII century when women started to talk about equality and later on when they started  to fight for their civil rights. The feminism for me is something to learn about every day, as womens that grow up in a patriarchal system we need to fight, since we are little girls, against the gender roles that are impossed to us.

When I was a little girl my mom always told me that I could be or do anything that I wanted if I worked hard for it. At the moment I didn´t understand why she was telling me that, but now I realize that she wanted that I believe in myself no matter what. Today I think that the feminism continous being an active and necessary fight, is something that we have to work everyday, everytime we walk on the street, next to every women and men that realize that we are equals in every way.
